4 stars-- Disturbing His Peace (The Academy #3) by Tessa Bailey

Okay. So Tessa Bailey. :shivers: Love her books!

And I've been enjoying the heck out of this series that revolves around a police department and a group of recruits in training and one of their lieutenants.

Greer is a hardass, yall. And has a pretty dirty mouth. But, yall. Seriously. This one had me melting. Who could resist that?!!

4 stars-- Indecent Exposure (Academy #2) by Tessa Bailey

*happy dance* When I spotted the series I had to give it a go. Love me some Tessa Bailey. Plus...yummy cover. Yep. Want!

So today's quote. It made me laugh. The heroine is from Ireland and in the US to help train at a police academy and they get an unexpected visit...

4 stars-- Disorderly Conduct (Academy #1) by Tessa Bailey

Goodness. Police recruits. A whole herd of charming, cocky police recruits heating up the streets of New York. Yes, please! lol Bailey's won me over with the Academy series. I actually started with book two then came back to Disorderly Conduct. And the crazy mess that's Charlie and Ever. And oh...it was fun.

The Gist: Horny lust filled eyes meet across a bar one night and BAM! naked bits are rejoicing! Ever and Charlie are two peas in a pod. They want to get all kinds of filthy together but skip the commitment and any attachments-- that's how they were raised after all. Until one day things change and Ever realizes she wants a happy ever after with someone and cuts commitment-phobe Charlie loose. Something he's not on board with. Not on board with at all. He just needs to find a way to prove to her dating other men? Terrible idea.

1 star-- Too Wild to Tame (Romancing the Clarksons #2) by Tessa Bailey

A review I never thought I'd post. I kinda feel like I've been knocked down on my ass but for the first time I didn't love one from Bailey. Seriously that's something I never thought would happen. But Too Wild to Tame just didn't work for me at all and was a struggle from pretty early on. I'd almost DNFd it at 30% but pushed trough hoping things would turn around but sadly they just didn't for a number of reasons.

Tessa Bailey! Yall know I love me some Tessa Bailey. She lands in Quote-tastic like every dang time. There's just SO many good ones. So this first one. The hero, Duke, his four recently divorced sisters live with him. Plus a best friend, his wife and daughter live in their guest house. So he's got a LOT of women on his plate and his favorite thing just never happens anymore. So, hero and heroine are on a trip for a concert (with different rooms) and she's invited him over...

3.5 stars--Too Hot to Handle (Romancing the Clarksons #1) by Tessa Bailey

Tessa Bailey!!!! *pets the pretty* Pretty much if Tessa's name is on the book... I'm gonna need it. Neeeeeeed it. A new series with siblings on a car trip? Yes, please!

And Too Hot To Handle turned out to be pretty dang fun! A semi-goth heroine, a reformed manwhore hero, bickering siblings and a car trip full of disasters, some lustiness and unexpected romance. Yeah. It was a good time as Rita and her semi-estranged siblings set out on a cross country road trip to fulfill their mother's death bed request that they head East and jump in some icy cold water on New Years. A broken down car before they even make it half way kinda puts a kink in that plan.

Alright so 5 things about Too Hot to Handle!

Bits & Nibbles Reviews--The SEAL's Secret Lover by Anne Calhoun & Boiling Point by Tessa Bailey

The SEAL's Secret Lover (Alpha Ops #1) by Anne Calhoun

Sweet and sexy! The SEAL's Secret Lover was such a fun read as Rose and Kennan (her brother's best friend) chaperone three little old ladies (her grams and her best friends) on a tour around Turkey. Hitting all the major sites (and bathrooms) along the way and maybe letting temptation get the best of them too (yay!)

#CountdownToChristmas--4 stars--Crashed Out (Made in Jersey #1) by Tessa Bailey

Oh my god. I would love for one of Bailey's heroes to come talk dirty in my ear. *shivers* The things he said! Whew, girl. Tingles. Yeah. Lotta tingles. lol Crashed Out will make you swoon!

Okay so the quick of it is that Sarge made it big as a musician after leaving his small Jersey town. For the last few years has been on the road with his band and not come home to visit his family. But he has helped them financially so he's not been totally absent. Now though. It's Christmas and the band is on a break in order to make a big decision and regroup and he's come home to spend time with the people he loves most-- his sister and niece. Too bad she gave him the brush off when he got home and sent him packing. Well, sent him to stay with her best friend and the woman he's had a serious crush on for years.

Tessa Bailey...is my crack. I freaking love this woman's books and Make Me was even more goodness heaped on all the fabulous she writes. lol I had to pick 3 quotes. *hangs head* This first one. The hero has it bad for the heroine but it's a no-go. She's friend zoned him without realizing he wanted something more. His, erm, manly bits are having a hard time remembering they aren't gonna get any...

Need Me (Broke and Beautiful #2) by Tessa Bailey

Well now. That was an interesting romance. Older hero, younger heroine (by a nice sized clip)...a teacher and his student...big city guy and a girl from Kentucky. Need Me was a little edgy but oh it worked. It so worked.

The quick of it is that Honey...she's crushing hard on her English professor. And she's ready to start her seduction of this tweed and glasses rocking man. An accidental encounter locked in a cabinet, finding out they're friends know each other and, well, attraction through the roof despite the taboo-ness of it all and sparks...they are a flying.

Chase Me (Broke and Beautiful #1) by Tessa Bailey

College drop-out, Roxy Cumberland, moved to New York with dreams of becoming an actress, but her dwindling bank account is quickly putting the kibosh on that fantasy. To make some quick cash, she signs up to perform singing telegrams. Her first customer is a gorgeous, cocky Manhattan trust-funder if she ever laid eyes on one. And what could be more humiliating than singing an ode to his junk, courtesy of his last one night stand? Maybe the fact that she’s dressed in a giant, pink bunny costume...

After a night out to celebrate winning his last case, lawyer Louis McNally II isn’t prepared for the pounding in his head or the rabbit serenading him from the front door. But the sassy wit and sexy voice of the girl behind the mask intrigues him, and one look at her stunning face—followed by a mind-blowing kiss against his doorjamb—leaves Louis wanting more.

Roxy doesn’t need a spoiled rich boy who’s had everything in life handed to him on a Tiffany platter. But there’s more to Louis than his sexy surface and he’s determined to make Roxy see it...even if it means chasing her all over NYC.

I just want to <tackle hug> Tessa Bailey. Chase Me was oh so fun, sexy, touching and everything that is amazing about Bailey and her stories. It's been a bit since I've read one of hers and I swear I just wanted to roll around swoon a little in it all. lol
"Please, oh keeper of the golden penis, let me worship at your flawless phallus."
The quick of it is that Roxy has hit rock bottom and is doing whatever she has to to survive including delivering singing telegrams and belting out an ode to Louis and his mighty fine cock ---thanks to his hook up from the night before. It's...quite the first meet. Whew boy! And oh she catches the playboy's eye something fierce. So now not only does she have to find a job...and a place to live...and deal with new roommates who wanna be friends but she's got to keep her cool around one sexy cocky man with a dirty mouth and a thing for prickly females.

Protecting What's His (Line of Duty #1) by Tessa Bailey

The opportunity was just too damn delicious for Ginger Peet to pass up. The purse full of money she finds—$50,000 to be exact—could give her and her teen sister the new start they need. So she grabs the cash, her gothy sibling, and their life-sized statue of Dolly Parton, and blows outta Nashville in a cloud of dust. Chicago, here we come...

Turns out, Chicago has some pretty hot cops. Hot, intense, naughty-lookin’ cops like Derek Tyler, who looks like he could eat a girl up and leave her begging for more. And more. Tempting as he is, getting involved with the sexy homicide lieutenant next door poses a teensy problem for a gal who’s on the lam. But one thing is certain—Derek’s onto her, and he wants more than just a taste.

Yeah. I've got a big ol girly crush on Tessa Bailey. She's brilliant and writes the best damn romances--with make you *fan yourself* dirty talkers and just fun set ups... like a heroine on the run with her underage sister and 50,000 and the cop next door who can't seem to resist her. Throw in a hilarious first meet, all kinds of sexed up goodness and tension, humor and just great characters and it was a definite hit for me.

Guest Post w/ Tessa Bailey-- Top 10 Christmas Gifts for HIM that *really* benefit HER

Woot! We've got Tessa Bailey here today with a fun top 10 list. If yall haven't read her she's freaking awesome and the Queen of dirty talking. It's *swoon* worthy. lol

Alright, handing off to Miss Tessa. Yall give her some comment love!  ~Anna

Reviews:

Brent Mason and Hayden Winstead can't stand each other. She plans exclusive parties for her rich familys charities. He's a rough and tumble cop who rigs explosives for a living. Could two people be any less suited for conversation? They think not and prefer to keep it that way.

Unfortunately, their two best friends are deeply, disgustingly in love. Forced together, the mutual attraction simmering beneath the surface of Brent and Hayden's non-relationship grows with every argument until it explodes into a scintillating night of mind-blowing sex. And it wont be the last, as far as Brent's concerned.

Hayden has a secret, though. Her father's company is relying on a merger to save them from financial ruin, and only Hayden's marriage to the CEOs wealthy son can secure the deal. If she's to protect her family, she'll have to forget Brent. And he has no intention of being forgotten.
