4 stars-- Cowboy Bold by Carolyn Brown

Oh, yall, Cowboy Bold was good. The romance took a little bit of a backseat but I really didn't mind. I just had such a good time with this one.

The Gist: A ranch that runs a summer program for at risk children. A sexy cowboy. A fiery cabin mother. Lots of adventure and smoldering looks. Oh yes.

1.5 stars-- Luckiest Cowboy of All (happy, Texas #3) by Carolyn Brown

Luckiest Cowboy of All my ample white ass! This book made me so mad!

The Gist: Charlene's decided she needs roots and it's time to head back home 9 years after she packed up her bags and fled. Those 9 years? Well she's been hiding her daughter from the baby daddy. Now she's just hoping maybe he won't realize he's the daddy until she's ready to tell him.  Ugh!

4 stars-- Long, Tall Cowboy Christmas (Happy, Texas #2) by Carolyn Brown

Cowboys! Cowboys at Christmas! Woo! Even if I did read it in August. lol

A sexy cowboy struggling with PTSD finally finding peace and comfort with a woman who sets his boots to moving and her three kids who desperately want a daddy of their own for Christmas. There might be a wee herd of sheep, too. Yall. Seriously.

Long, Tall Cowboy Christmas was a sweet romance that'll leave you believing in miracles and dreaming of a white Christmas.

Alright two funny church quotes. It's not a religious book but they do go to church and these made me laugh because, well, I've had a similar first conversation with my grandmom/mom and the second I just love her cheek. lol

4 stars-- A Cowboy Christmas Miracle (Burnt Boot, #4) by Carolyn Brown

They melted the baby Jesus and dun stole Santa! Lordy but Burnt Boot, Texas is one lively town full of quirky down right crazy people. A Cowboy Christmas Miracle was a hoot as the #LoveWar threatens to take both sides of the feuding town down for good.

3.5 stars--One Texas Cowboy Too Many (Burnt Boot, Texas #3) by Carolyn Brown

Quirky and slightly insane...that pretty much sums up One Texas Cowboy Too Many. Well. The slightly may be debateable. Totally and completely crazy?...yeah, that may be the ticket with this group. lol This is one lively town full of some wild folks dead set on keeping a 100+ year old feud hopping and eventful. You're either a Brennan...a Gallagher... or a damn unlucky sob who is caught in between these feuding families. And whew boy they're gonna make it rough on a person. lol

Alright. The quick of it is that Rhett is new to town. He's come to help his family--who lives between the two feuding ranches--out on their farm. And oh one of the feuding ladies has caught his eye. There's something different about Leah Brennan and he's ready to find out what. Now, Leah? She's tired of being the "good" granddaughter and doing her feuding granny's bidding. She's ready to make her own decisions and one of those? Tackling the bike riding cowboy that's driven into town and is strictly forbidden.

Well, that was a real good time. I mean. You know it's gonna be a lively time when things kick off with the heroine holding the hero at gun point with a shotgun. And The Trouble with Texas Cowboys definitely delivered with a slow burning romance that was sweet, heartwarming and impossible not to smile over as Jill and Sawyer decide to team up for their own protection against a crazy little town that's feuding and set on dragging them into the mix.
