Finding Kyle was a pretty unique one seeing as it's got a light house keeper for a hero. How fun!

So this quote. The heroine. She's got some geek in her and is constantly quoting movies/dates when they suit. Sometimes at rather, erm, unconventional moments. This one seriously cracked me up.

2 stars--Hawke (Cold Fury Hockey #5) by Sawyer Bennett

Just look at that cover. Lordy! That is one serious #Covergasm.

I was all excited about starting Hawke. I enjoy Bennett's books and, hello, hockey playing hottie. Woo! But my first thought when I finished this one? Damn. Apparently I read a totally different book than everyone else did. Hawke. Well it has an AMAZING cover. And that was my favorite thing about it.

4 stars--Wicked Lust (The Wicked Horse #2) by Sawyer Bennett

Dayum! That was gloriously, delightfully pervy! Wicked Lust was indeed wicked and, oh, it made me squirm! Love that!

The quick of it is that Sloan is a journalist on a mission to rid the world of corrupt politicians and her magazine has it's eyes set on one out in Wyoming with very very loose ties to a kink club. And she's...going to infiltrate and get the scoop. If she has to boff the hunky scarred head of security to get that in? So be it! She'll just have to take one for the team <winks>

So. I finished this one and my first thought....daaaayum girl how can you possibly walk at this point? ::snort:: Yups. There is a LOT of sex brandied about in Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett And whewboy! It's some intense sexing happening too! This is basically a modern take on Tarzan and it's a hot and steamy ride as Zack--whose missionary parents passed away leaving him to be adopted and raised by the primitive tribe they were living with-- comes back to the US after 18 years living in the Amazon and falls for the woman helping him acclimate to his new life. And attempts to dominate the hell out of her. Bless his uncivilized and randy little heart. It was a good time.
