I had an impressive OMG squealy reader-girl moment when I spotted Asking for More. I love the world Pace created surrounding Vivienne and Jonah and their shared dark desires of rape fantasy. It's been a stunning and fascinating romance. So more Viv and Jonah? Oh hell yeah. Gimme gimme!
Things didn't quite pan out that way though. There was nothing intrinsically bad about it... there just wasn't really anything to it... at all. Definitely not what the blurb is suggests--which would have been quite exciting and emotional from the sounds of it.

#AFTH2015 w/ Lilah Pace--Grapefruit Prosecco Punch to get you through the holidays ;)
Ooo Lilah Pace is here today. Yall she wrote one of my favorite romances this year--Asking for It. It was...quite the read! And her first foray into dark romance. It was fascinating and very very hot and one that'll push boundaries a bit since it focuses on rape fantasy. But gah...give it a go. I was blown away. And so dang excited to have her joining us today.
Yall check out her post and give her a warm welcome! ~anna

This week I'm going with a new favorite author of mine. Lilah Pace. She writes a stunning erotic and edgy series that deals with the kink of rape fantasy. A very touchy subject but she handles it in an incredibly way. The second book--Begging for It--came out recently and *noms* so good! These two quotes both gave me a chuckle...

Asking for It by Lilah Pace
The quick of it is that Vivienne and Jonah both have a particular need. Rape Fantasy is what does it for them. It's something they crave and have never been able to find that someone who could fulfill the need that simmers in them. Until a chance encounter brings them into each others lives. An opportunity is given. A risk taken. A craving indulged. And oh. It was scorching as these two did a little role playing, spiced things up and did a little soul searching.
