I have a LOT of print books and right now I'm in the process of changing my system! Eek! 

It got me thinking and figured this would be a fun post.

So I'm gonna have a wee rant today. One I've been contemplating for a good long while and decided to get off my chest! lol

Them: *looks at new release* You wouldn't like this book. It's not your kind of read. It's not erotica.

*waves* Hey guys! It's been a little quiet on the blog the last few days. If you're in the FB group you already know I went to Florida! It was the first time I've been able to get home in 8 years (ack!) and was my first time taking the train on a long trip too. 

Figured I'd share a little about the trip :) I'll be around to catch up on everyone's blogs the next few days and will get things going on here too. Didn't realize until I got home my mom didn't have wifi so my laptop was useless and she's in the middle of the country so my phone was pretty useless for updates and such too. *flails* lol

The other night I was laying in bed and for some reason I was thinking about all the stuff in the house and I was like hmmm I wonder what item in this house I've had the longest and still use. Not just the oldest item but been with me the longest and like I said still used.

There are thousands of blogs out there. Thousands. It's crazy overwhelming. One of the huge things in the community is socializing but there's just no way to get to everyone. So today I thought I'd share a few reasons why I'm not coming by and visiting.

A couple weeks back someone read one of my reviews on Goodreads and then messaged me...

I can't see anything in your review that would, given the rest of it, cost a star. Why 4 instead of 5?

So a friend of mine posted on FB the other day some words she hates and omg yall. *hangs head* I say, erm, type, like 4 of them! And thus, I realized...I make a lot of noises. Like. A LOT of noises!

Word from the Herd-- Acceptable Violence: Heroine's who strike their heroes...

Something I've noticed lately has really started to bother me and I wanted to talk about it today.

I think we'd all pretty much agree that if a hero hit/slapped/physically struck a woman he would no longer be considered a hero. That's just not acceptable, right?

But a heroine slapping/physically striking or trying to knee a hero in the balls while arguing? Totally okay. No one bats an eye. Some would cheer her on because he totally deserved it for <insert whatever excuse here>!

This has happened in 5 books I've read recently and it's a trend I'd started seeing in reads prior to that as well. And it's irked the ever fucking hell out of me.

I've pretty much got the expression of my meme cat right now.
