A long while back I was asked how to do page anchors and...I totally forgot about it. I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I can't even remember who asked. #BloggerGirlFail

Anywho so a Page Anchor. It's basically a way to link lower down on a post from the top of it. It's very handy when you have a lengthy post or index.

Hey guys! We've actually got a guest blogger today! Yall have seen her here before :) Sharon from I Smell Sheep. We got together at a book signing a couple months back and got to talking about blog stuff..naturally. lol One of the things was SEO (something that makes my eyes boggle!) and tada! Rock the Blog is a little different today. I've seen a handful of posts and comments lately that got me thinking about the bits and pieces I feel are important in blogging. Things that make it easier, help give a blog presence, make it stand out and that keep it going year after year.

Alright! I was asked a bit back how I get only part of my blog posts to publish in my emails and 

on my blog page with a <read more> tag that you click and it takes you to the full post.

This is something I LOVE and that I'm really glad I started doing for a couple reasons I'll explain below and really appreciate when other bloggers have implemented them.

So for my first Rock the Blog I'm chatting about something that was a huge time saver for me and really has helped me out as a blogger...

How to create a Permanent Blog Post Template in Blogger!

Whenever I create a "New Post" it automatically comes up with the "After" view instead of a blank post where you have to build from scratch each time.

I get emails on a regular basis asking how I do this or that one the blog and figured it might be time to start making some blogger-y posts about it. So. Rock The Blog.

Randomly Random-- So you're gonna Disqus...

Sooo, earlier this year I decided to change our commenting system and installed Disqus. And I've really been liking it and love some of the features so I'm glad I did. I know some of yall are new to it and others are having some problems so I thought I'd do a Randomly Random on it and some of it's features.
