So. It's the middle of the night. And I'm laying in bed. (seriously I swear EVERY randomly random starts that way, lol) So I'm watching Proper Tasty videos o Facebook on my phone and this guy is making the recipe.

Randomly Random: Unruly Body Parts

So I was laying in bed (yeah, the start of so many randomly randoms lol) and found myself untucking my earlobes for like the millionth time because my blasted unruly earlobes kind of tilt forward and when I lay down they like to tuck themselves and it drives me absolutely bonkers.
I'm seriously all... Get your shit together, earlobes! Get your shit together!

Anyways. So I'm laying there in the middle of the night feeling growly over earlobes. And it got me thinking about unruly body parts in general...

Randomly Random-- So. The Train happened. And it was something!

*waves* Hey guys! It's been a little quiet on the blog the last few days. If you're in the FB group you already know I went to Florida! It was the first time I've been able to get home in 8 years (ack!) and was my first time taking the train on a long trip too. 

Figured I'd share a little about the trip :) I'll be around to catch up on everyone's blogs the next few days and will get things going on here too. Didn't realize until I got home my mom didn't have wifi so my laptop was useless and she's in the middle of the country so my phone was pretty useless for updates and such too. *flails* lol

Randomly Random-- So I was laying in bed...

The other night I was laying in bed and for some reason I was thinking about all the stuff in the house and I was like hmmm I wonder what item in this house I've had the longest and still use. Not just the oldest item but been with me the longest and like I said still used.

And you know what I came up with?

Randomly Random: The Google... It has failed me.

Sooo. I search for a lot of images for the blog. A lot of images.

And sometimes...The Google? It fails me. lol

So. It's been a month since I got a Fitbit. And I've learned a few things.

I hate exercise. Now. This really wasn't in question pre-Fitbit. But it has been confirmed.

Woohoo! It's Christmas!! Hope yall are having (or had) a fabulous day!
I'm kicking mine off at the USO for an overnight shift. It's actually pretty busy tonight and decorations are up. There's yummy food everywhere and people are in good spirits. I love being here over the holidays :) We get a lot of people who are dealing with delayed or missed flights and it's nice being able to help turn that around a little. Get their bellies full, give them a place to take a nap or just rest a while and recover. 
Then when I get off in the morning it's naps with the herd and then dinner out with two bookish friends which should be a lot of fun.

Randomly Random: Oh no. I'm a noise maker. Noise. So much noise. #shameface

So a friend of mine posted on FB the other day some words she hates and omg yall. *hangs head* I say, erm, type, like 4 of them! And thus, I realized...I make a lot of noises. Like. A LOT of noises!

What do you do when you aren't *gasp* reading?
And I'm talking fun things not having to do the whole adult bit.

I love reading, obviously, but other than that I love crafty kind of things.

Cross stitch and beading and photography. And my e-crafting with working on graphics.

I'm always playing with my nails and trying out new nail art designs. That's something fairly new in the last year. Kinda crafty too, maybe?

I hang at the USO as often as I can.

Unless other precautions are happening bring on those damn rubbers. But have fun with it. I talked about this before. I know. I can't help it. I want fun and sexy condom scenes not ones that are just a token nod to safety. Glow in the dark, flavored, a rainbow of colors, ones with funny sayings. Or just hot and filthy scenes where plain old regular ones are used.

Randomly Random: Oh you're a "romance" reader....tsk tsk

If you've been by the blog you know I love my romances. All types. From the sweet and sassy to the dark and twisty. Simple kisses to full out menage and any and every kink you can throw at me. I love them all. 

And I'm good with people knowing what I read. I take my paperbacks with their half nekkid covers out in public and will chat with pretty much anyone about what I read. I don't really care if people don't "get" my books. They're my release, my entertainment, my way to relax from the stresses of every day life and I'm not harming a single person reading them.

Where's all this going?

Well, earlier tonight my easy going, laid back reader girl self snapped just a little bit. All because of a post that was up on B&N's blog for about 7 hours--before they decided to quietly take the post down after a not so positive response from romance readers out there. [For yall outside the US B&N (Barnes & Noble) is I'd say our biggest book retailer with actual stores.]

Randomly Random: When your vacation starts out at a sex toy shop...

Yes, well that's a new one! Okay, so not the actual going into a, um, toy shop since I've been in one before. But venturing inside one with a paranormal romance and an erotic romance author in tow? Yeah. That was definitely a new experience for this girlie and left her ALL kinds of red. LOL

I'm not quite sure how it happened other than Tes Hilaire (knowing I've ended up in the wrong state...multiple times) listened to my directions and on one of our turn abouts a naughty shop was spotted resulting in a need for penis...straws.

On the way to said naughty shop the next morning we gave CJ Ellisson a ring and of course she came along for the penis straw, dirty card game, creme brule body dust tasting adventure. We might have maybe kinda tried out the clit stimulator gels on our lips too. Maybe. *looks around innocently and whispers* That stuff is freaky! No way it's going near delicate bits!

So that's how my vacation kicked off. Gotta say, it was an excellent and oh so randomly random start to a pretty damn entertaining weekend...

Randomly Random & Easily Distracted!

Alright kittens! We're adding a new feature to the blog...Randomly Random and Easily Distracted. Basically all sorts of little random bits and what-nots ;)

So, what brought this around? Ice Cream. And not just any ice cream. This is like The Cherise Sinclair of Ice Cream. the Black Dagger Brotherhood if they came in frozen, creamy goodness. Every brilliant, hysterical Jill Shalvis moment condensed into a pint of absolute make you weak in the knees...perfection.
