4 stars-- Ride It Out (Desert Dogs #4) by Cara McKenna #QuoteTastic

Woo! Cara McKenna! Yall know I love her books. So dang sexy and just all together delicious.

Ride It Out is Miah's book. Finally! He's the romantic of the group and I'll admit his book took me by surprise. I was not expecting his heroine to have a kid. But it worked out great and made for some fantastic scenes. This one had me and my 35 year old grey hair having self laughing...

Quote-tastic--- A Place Card...Where?!! (After Hours by Cara McKenna)

Sooo. I have like 7 review books read and not a damn quote from any of them. And I was like Waaa?!! How is that possible?!! Alas...it is. lol Even though they were fab books.

So today's quote is from one I read AGES ago but still love-- After Hours by Cara McKenna. Noms! This one was SO good! They meet on a psych ward. It's super hot, too. This bit seriously had me laughing...

Quote-tastic/Review-- Midtown Masters (Sins in the City #3) by Cara McKenna

Cara McKenna. Yall. If you haven't read her yet she's amazing. Seriously erotic and unconventional. Regular heroes and heroines who have some kink and like to get filthy. It's just so much damn fun. This time around a very creative menage.

This first quote is the heroine and her best friend and fuck buddy who's a little emotionally stunted...

4 stars-- Downtown Devil (Sins in the City, #2) by Cara McKenna

A curl-your-toes scorcher! Downtown Devil is sinful, decadent, and one seriously steamy, delicious ride.

The quick of it is that Clare's working on a photo exhibit and it's brought a wild, reckless man to her doorstep. Perfect for her exhibit and, maybe, her bed too. She needing a little adventure and daring in her life and Mica and his roommate...look like just the pair to deliver it one mind blowing orgasm at a time.

4 stars--Crosstown Crush (Sins In the City, #1) by Cara McKenna

Please! Can I have another?!! ohmigod. Crosstown Crush was like a deliciously dirty version of 'I'll show you mine, if you show me yours'...the kink edition. Leave it to McKenna to always bring something fascinating and unique to the table and do so in a gloriously sexy, intriguing way.

This...was a new one for me. The quick of it is that Sam and Mike are married and he's got a rather interesting fetish--he's got a cuckolding kink. Yep, he gets off on thinking his wife is cheating on him and he's not good enough. It's something they've worked into their sex life with creative role playing over the years--her going out for drinks, rubbing a little cologne on herself and coming home to be "caught" and the like. But now Sam's ready to up their role playing and give him one helluva gift--bringing another man, a stranger, into their lives to play out those fantasies in living, sweaty, filthy color. Even better...their kinky third has his own fetish and enjoys being watched. *noms* Kinky fetishes abound and it..was...glorious.

Drive It Deep (Desert Dogs #2.5) by Cara McKenna

This is one of the rare times I really curse myself for being a non-blurb reader. Often that leads to fun surprises. But, unfortunately, with Drive It Deep that wasn't the case and it's definitely one I would have avoided had I peeked at the blurb. First though. I freaking love Cara McKenna's books. I rave about them often and they consistently get 4-5 stars from me but for the first time that wasn't the case and I'm not recommending one of her books. Which just guts me.

Drive It Deep takes place two years prior to the previous book in the series despite being book 2.5. It's the story of the heroine from book two--Raina, who got a hea with another man in that book-- and Miah--one of her best friends-- having a failed romance all those years ago. Hooking up and then her breaking his heart. While the writing was impeccable, as always, and the sex scenes blisteringly hot a very nice man was hurt badly when he just didn't deserve it. If you read the series that's implied in the other books that they had a failed go at things but actually seeing it happen on page was a very different thing and not in a good way.

Eeps! Give it All is almost here! Gah. Yall I loved this one. A crass bike loving, bar owning heroine and a posh British cat loving hero who is a bit snooty and proper. Damn but they were an awesome combo with some dirty thrown in and humor on top of it. Review is down below if you're curious. Oh and this is NOT an MC romance. Just some bike lovers.

W
aves madly* Mornin' Cara! Merry almost Christmas!! Welcome to the herd! How goes things over in your neck of the woods?
Merry near-Christmas! This is my first holiday season in the Pacific Northwest, after thirty-odd years in New England, so it’s sure to be both different and exciting. While I’ll miss seeing my folks this winter, one thing I’m looking forward to is not having to scrape an inch of ice off the car or shovel multiple feet of snow in the wee, dark hours.
