#AFTH2015 w/ Samantha Young--It's the Music & Movies!

I tried a LOT of new-to-me authors this year as part of the reading challenge we hosted and Samantha Young happened to be one of those authors. And, whew, yall! I cannot believe I'd not read her sooner! I was hooked by like page 2 (of Hero) and having a major case of grabby hands for all of her other books. Sexy, romantic, a delicious bit of antagonism (I do love those reads). It was just fantastic. I was hooked like you wouldn't believe. And I've been reading all of her others since and lurving them! It's a real treat to have Samantha joining us today. Yall show her some love and hit those comments! ~anna

Oh I do love Young and her men. One King's Way was a fun time as Craig --who is a total flirt and thinks one night stands are the perfect length for a relationship--gets knocked on his ass when a stunning women rocking 40s pin up girl style saunters into his bar and has him thinking maybe, just maybe he's ready to be a one-woman man. Too bad she's only there to get revenge on her sister's ex and isn't one bit wowed by his flirty ways.

So. I'm fairly new to Young's books. I had a great time with this one. It's last in the series (book 6) but worked totally fine as a stand alone. It was a damn fine read. Had me chuckling and sniffling.  Anyways. Two quotes for today. They just had me gigglesnorting. I love the bits of humor she works in even though there are some fairly serious themes in the book overall.

My first go with Samantha Young...pretty damn good. Broody pain-in-the-ass hero, smart-ass heroine, Scorching sexy. Fucked up family history. Yep. Had a good time.

I had a devil of a time picking a quote this week so went with 3. These first two are from early on when the two were just starting to have to deal with each other. Just made me smile.
