4 stars-- Midnight Wolf (Shifters Unbound, #11) by Jennifer Ashley

Dammit! Ashley made me cry. I was totally holding my shit together and then page 313 (out of 314) got me. Blasted grumbly alpha males being all sweet and thoughtful. lol

I had a great time with Midnight Wolf! Ashley never fails at delivering a stellar shifter romance that'll leave a girl shivering in delight. Noms!

The Gist: Angus has been ordered--by the jerk authorities that monitor shifters-- to hunt down a wee female shifter. Fuckers actually stole his cub to force his hand. When he catches her? Well everything changes for both of them because he kinda sorta decides to keep her without even meaning to. So ensues a mad dash for safety, carnies, an abundance of hot broody sexy alpha males and a whole lot of steamy make your tummy flutter goodness. Mmhm. Oh! And cute little cubs, too.

I Want You to Want Me (Rock Star Romance #2) by Erika Kelly

Mmmm yummy rockstars. I Want You To Want Me totally rocked. The set up was pretty unique and fun. Derek's band is on tour and they're making a name for themselves but it's not always a good one. They're self destructing and if they don't pull their shit together very soon they could lose everything. Which brings Violet into their lives. She's a Minder (something I've never read about!) and is there to watch out for them and channel all of their energy into positive endeavors so they don't become yet another band that was taken down by partying, booze and drugs. A mighty clash totally waiting to happen between her and a herd of young rock stars who are living it up and going just a little too wild and crazy.

I'm continuing my Roni Loren binge reading and omg loving them! This one was put out in serial form but is being released Nov 4th as a print book w/ a bonus new novella. These guys were so damn fun. This is their not first meet since they've all been neighbors but it's the first meet that kicks off the book and romance. Pike and Foster are best friends/roommates and Cela--the heroine has just graduated from vet school. I totally snorted over these pervy boys....

This week is all about Jennifer Ashley and her highlanders. *swoons* Alright so these two are fairly night and day. He's lost his wife a while back and pretty much stopped living at that point and Bertie--his new love interest--is very much a vivacious and lively one and he's desperate to get that feeling. To see what she sees. I loved the final little bit of their exchange. Just made me smile and was so her.
