3.5 stars--The Wicked Duke (Wicked Trilogy #3) by Madeline Hunter

Oh I loved the so called 'Wicked Duke'. Lance is so very wicked (well naughty at least) and more oft than not...finds himself in spots of trouble but currently? Well he's playing the "good" duke. The well behaved one. The dull as rocks and bored out of his mind one. *flails* See, his brother was murdered some months back and all eyes have been on him as the culprit. So he's got to behave himself and avoid all of his usual trappings. Including women. Alas, one captivating trespasser has caught his eye. Just so happens her uncle is one of the men who holds Lance's fate in his hands. And so...things get a touch messy as Lance tries to save his hide, find out who really did kill his brother and deals with a romance he never saw coming.

Tall, Dark and Wicked (Wicked Trilogy, #2) by Madeline Hunter

Oh how delicious! Tall, Dark and Wicked was an absolute treat! Sexy, fun and just a little bit wicked too.

The quick of it is that Padua's father has been carted off to prison--charges unknown--and in desperate need of help in saving his life she seeks out a man known for his talents in the courtroom. Only to find out that the man she'd hoped to have on her side is the enemy himself and the man charged with prosecuting her father. Dum..dum..dum!!!!!! Even worse...he's gorgeous, sexy and completely intriguing and those feelings aren't one sided. Oh yeah. All in all...trouble for both of them.

His Wicked Reputation (Wicked Trilogy #1) by Madeline Hunter

Gareth Fitzallen is celebrated for four things: his handsome face, his notable charm, his aristocratic connections, and an ability to give the kind of pleasure that has women begging for more. Normally he bestows his talents on experienced, worldly women. But when he heads to Langdon’s End to restore a property he inherited—and to investigate a massive art theft—he lays plans to seduce a most unlikely lady.

Eva Russell lives a spinster’s life of precarious finances and limited dreams while clinging to her family’s old gentry status. She supports herself by copying paintings while she plots to marry her lovely sister to a well-established man. Everyone warns her of Gareth’s reputation, and advises her to lock her sister away. Only it is not her sister Gareth desires. One look, and she knows he is trouble. One kiss, however, proves she is no match for this master of seduction.

Type: Historical Romance
Heat: 3 out of 5
Rating: 4 out of 5

*pets the pretty man chest* His Wicked Reputation was oh so delicious. The perfect balance of heat, humor and romance with bold, passionate characters and an easy storyline that had me grabbing for my book every chance I got. Love that feeling!

The quick of it is that Eva and Gareth are new neighbors. And a fiery start--homeboy totally almost mowed her down with his horse when she was maybe kinda sneaking one of his paintings out of his house to copy--led to some seriously luscious little sparks. Sparks that turn into a lot more when some strange happenings push them together and they decide...it might just be time to see what's between them.

I finally read my first Madeline Hunter! It was a pretty good read with a rather interesting wager where the heroine put her virginity up against the hero's 10,000 pounds in a game of cards she desperately needed to win. Ahh the scandal!
