It was another long-ish week. I stayed home pretty much the entire time since I have sick kitties. Both are doing better but yall know how it is. You hover. Can't really help it. lol

But I got a lot of blogging done because of it. I finished the Blog Ahead challenge a few days early and have gotten to 54 scheduled posts. All of April is finished and a good portion of May plus a few sprinkled until December. So I'm feeling pretty dang good on that front :)

I'm still working on it but man it feels GOOD to actually do some reading in a real book. The eyes are improving. New glasses should be here this week so fingers crossed, yall. I've made some blog visits, too! I have a lot of catching up to do but slowly comment bombing yall. lol

Hey guys! I hope you're all doing wonderful. Things are still slow on the visiting and reading front here. My next eye appointment is Thursday and, yall, I've never been so eager to get in to see the doctor. lol Fingers crossed he has some plans for these eyes! This past week was busy even if not on the reading front. The #SupportTheTroopsAuction ended this past week and we raised a bit over $1100 for the USO. Yay!

And this weekend went to see Ed Sheeran play live in concert. It was...amazing. Since I'm not reading much and so reviews will be light in Sept I figured I'd start blogging some of these things so keep a look out for that later this week :)

Okay. So life update real quick. Yall saw my eye post this week. Still struggling with computer time. And the time I do spend is on author stuff or the auction which starts later today. Once that's live I'll hopefully finally get to do some blog visits. Reading is like next to none right now, too. Ahhhh, yall! lol Other than that. Life is life and not horrid. I'm going to eat a lot of birthday cookie cake today. I got it on sale for 1.99 (down from 13) with my coupons. lol Makes turning 35 tomorrow not quite as bad :)

As you read I'm in South Carolina! Oooo! Yes, mom and Oma decided to drive up and I decided to drive down so we could watch the eclipse together. We're supposed to get almost 2 minutes of complete dark. But the more exciting bit is getting to see them. It's been a year and 2 months since I saw them last. Jake the dog came, too! (he even has eclipse glasses). Internet is limited so I'l be offline mostly other than wee hours when they're asleep most likely. But come by, visit, check out posts. Yall. It's been a week. Between getting ready for my trip, my eyes going troublesome, the freezer getting delivered and getting my hair cut...I'm tired. lol And way behind on my reading. *flails* yall *flails* I'll probably be slow on blog visits and such-- my eyes just can't take the screen time-- but hang in with me, please! Once I get back from my trip and get my eye appointment behind me I'll give back in the swing of things. :)

A Little Update: 

It's still hot. It's still humid. It's still making me feel stabby! Other than that I'm working on the Support the Troops auction this week-- if you'd like to donate a book click HERE. 

And I'm working on cleaning out our dining room so I can buy a freezer. The dining room is NEVER used so I figure I'll make it do some work for a change.

Oh my gosh. It is so freaking hot yall. It's MISERABLE in the south. We did finally have rain tonight. Yay! We've had a total of .79 inches of rain for all of July. And it all fell within one hour tonight. smh It's been brutal.

Eeee! I've become a book fiend this last couple weeks. I'm all I NEED ALL THE BOOKS! lol It's been hot and muggy here. Pretty much turns me worthless. lol I have been working in the yard this week. July is going so fast! It's been a pretty good week. Nothing major happened which was nice for a change. Just relaxed, worked a bit, blogged a bit. Started working on the charity auction I'm hosting (if you'd like to donate an item let me know! It benefits the USO) and getting ready for a trip to see my family in August. So not bad at all.
