What a Reckless Rogue Needs (Sinful Scoundrels #2) by Vicky Dreiling

Heartwarming, witty and utterly endearing it's one historical fans will love. ~ herding cats & burning soup
Colin Brockhurst, Earl of Ravenshire, has no desire to wed, this season or any other. So when his father demands he give up his wild ways and take a wife, Colin refuses. But his father raises the stakes and threatens to sell the ancestral home if Colin doesn't comply. Now Colin has no choice but to find a wife. Unfortunately, the only woman he wants is the one whose heart he broke years ago.

Regardless of the ton's whispers, Lady Angeline Brenham won't settle for anything less than true love. After rejecting more than her share of suitable suitors, spinsterhood looms before her—until the devilishly handsome Colin reappears in her life with a proposition. Angeline vows to keep her feet on the ground and her heart in check. That is, until one searing kiss melts her resolve and reignites a burning desire for more.

Type: Historical Romance
Heat: 3 out of 5 (though limited)
Rating: 4 out of 5
Releases March 25th
Amazon | Book Depository | BAM | Goodreads

What a Reckless Rogue Needs was one of those books that just made me smile. I loved it. Everything about Angeline and Colin just tugged at my heart as these two life long adversaries find themselves--and their futures--at the mercy of others and are tempted to rely on someone they'd never thought a friend.

Author Spotlight & Giveaway: Vicky Dreiling!

Oh so many treats for yall today!

Earlier this summer I went to a fantastic reading get together up in Ohio hosted by Lori Foster. When I got home I had a huge list of new authors I wanted to check out and Vicky Dreiling was one of them. I actually remember seeing her at the event (even though I don't think I managed to say hi at the time) and she stuck in my mind because she was just all smiles and looked like such a nice lady. And it turns out she really is! She's one of the sweetest authors I've come across and really adores her fans.

So, first up for yall today. If you haven't checked out Vicky's books now's the perfect time! Her first book How to Marry a Duke just had it's price dropped to $2.99 which is an absolute steal! Purchase links are down below. They're good until Oct 1, 2012 so make sure you pick up your copy soon :)
