The Monthly Herd-- September-- What Happened?!

My word. Where did time go?! September was crazy around here. From family to herd to garden and doing new things.

So the highlights? Mom is doing great post knee surgery and getting back to normal life. The herd has been hanging in there. Everyone's fine just driving me out of my mind. lol

I started working for Instacart which has been an experience! I'm having my 3rd shift today. And I got a drone and promptly crashed him. He survived! I'm not a good drone mom.

The Monthly Herd-- August-- How is it over already?!!

And August is OVER! It was a busy month. So. Some highlights!

• We had some scary rain a couple times. One I got stuck between two flooded out roads. Took me 45 minutes to get 4 miles home. Eek!

• bought a fancy new camera! First real camera in probably 10 years. It's amazing!

• Did a ton of gardening! Worked on some new beds, grew a cantaloupe! started a few new projects

The Monthly Herd-- June/July + this dang heat

Oops! I forgot to get around to June's recap and am late with July's recap. Honestly this heat. It's got me flailing.

So. All the things. Lets see if I can actually remember them? lol 

The Monthly Herd-- May-- The Month I Hated

I won't even lie. May was pretty dreadful here. After losing Cleo at the end of April I pretty much fell apart. She'd been my baby for 15 years and the past year and a half pretty much revolved around her. She was just such a girl and losing her after two others this year was just too much and I crumbled.

Yall, I wanted to let you know the blog is going dark for a little while. Monday afternoon I lost Cleo. She was my third baby I've lost already this year and my heart is feeling pretty battered.

Holy cow. March went buy FAST! It was a very busy month here.

Well we made it to the end of February. Thank goodness.

Ohmahgawd! How can it be the last day of 2018?!! That is just not real. lol

December was a whirlwind. I didn't end up getting to see my mom (she got sick) but it was still a pretty good month.

November is a wrap! How? I know we say this every month but how is it already December?! That's unreal.

August was a busy month around here. Lots happened at home and with herd. It was a pretty decent month though, yall, I am DONE with this heat and humidity. DONE. Bring on the fall! Please! lol

Woo! June was a LIGHT month on the blog. I only had 13 posts go live. That's less than I've had in a month since starting in Jan 2012. Yall! It was hard not posting more but I needed the break for the herd so no regrets :)

The Monthly Herd & Organizing

So, yall. May kicked my ass all the way around. I had/have 2 herd babes doing scary medical things. Feeding tubes, panic attacks needing breathing treatments. Multiple vets and emergency vets, surgeries. Its been exhausting physically and emotionally. One is doing better. The other is touch and go critical. So its stressful to say the least. We're hanging in there but seriously yall.

The Monthly Herd-- March-- It had gone...so well. lol

We had Spring! Then Summer! Then Winter! Lord this month. lol

March wasn't too bad. I got a lot done and for the most part it was an easy month until the very end. Then hell sorta broke loose. Ee!

February may have been a short month but it was a busy one and really great! Though, damn, I could use a nap! lol

Jan went crazy fast but also so dang slow since we were cooped up at home for so much of it due to below freezing temps, then snow, then rain. Rinse, freeze, repeat. lol
