**I read this one back in like 2012 and it's been sitting in my drafts folder since then. *hangs head*
Oh yes. I've definitely fallen for the Kowalski family. Whew. Everything about them just does it for me. They're loud, overwhelming, rowdy, they do everything full force and there's just a ton of them. This time...Kevin Kowalsi who was just charmingly handsome and after a one night stand finds himself...about to be a daddy.

5 stars-- Exclusively Yours (Kowalski Family #1) by Shannon Stacey #PickOfTheLitter
So a (long) spell back I won a copy of Exclusively Yours from a giveaway Jaci Burton was holding and ohmygod I absolutely loved it! Seriously LOVED it! Exclusively Yours was like slipping into my favorite pair of pjs--cozy and comforting. I easily fell into Stacey's writing and enjoyed every second of watching Keri and Joe get to know each other while surrounded by his wacky crazy family--who managed to be endearing as hell and seriously loved to give each other grief over pretty much everything.

Midnight Vengeance (Midnight #4) by Lisa Marie Rice
Morton “Jacko” Jackman isn’t afraid of anything. He’s a former Navy SEAL sniper, and he’s been in more firefights than most people have had hot meals. Lauren Dare scares the crap out of him.
Gorgeous, talented and refined, she’s the type of woman who could never be interested in a roughneck like him. So he’s loved her fiercely in secret, taken her art classes, and kept a watchful but comfortable distance. Until now.
Lauren had finally found a home in Portland, far from her real identity, far from the memories of her mother’s death, and outside the reaches of the drugged-out psycho who’s already tried to kill her twice. One tiny misstep—a single photograph—has shattered it all. She has no choice but to run again, but this time she’ll give herself a proper farewell: one night with Jacko.
Their highly charged emotional encounter changes everything. In Jacko’s arms there cannot be fear, there can only be pleasure. Anyone wishing her harm will have to pass through him, and Jacko is a hard man to kill.

Well. Midnight's Vengeance unfortunately did not work for me. It had a great set up--heroine on the run for her life and the man who is totally smitten with her stepping in to protect her-- and potential but the actual writing just didn't mesh well for me at all which was surprising since I've enjoyed others from Rice.
The quick of it is that Lauren has been living under a fake identity since her mother's death. A kinda sorta family member took exception to her inheriting everything and decided if she was dead he'd get the family empire. Not true but then crazy is crazy. And for 2 years she's been somewhat safe with her fake identity which has now been compromised. Before she can run though her friends set out to keep her safe. Who better since they run a super elite security firm.

Problems in Paradise (Texas Nights #3) by Kelsey Browning
Eden Durant hasn't always been Eden Durant. She's made a fresh start in Shelbyville, Texas, far from her mother's notoriety. Running the Paradise Garden Café is as much excitement as Eden wants—or it was, until she meets Beck Childress. Although he's the one man who could expose her past, she's willing to open up enough to see if he might be her future.
Chief Deputy Childress is determined to get to know the real Eden, when he isn't busy cleaning up after the sheriff and running in the election to replace him. When several men fall sick after eating in Eden's café, he investigates even as her mysterious past raises both his suspicions and his protective instincts.
As their relationship heats up, so do the pressures of Beck's campaign. When Eden's secrets are revealed, jeopardizing his dream of becoming sheriff, he'll need to choose: serve and protect the town he loves or the woman who makes it home.

Oh how could I have not read Browning sooner! I loved Problems in Paradise. It was such a fun read. Sweet, sassy and rocking some sexy too. My favorite combo of readery goodness as the town's health food fanatic and it's junk food loving Chief Deputy--who have been sniffing around each other--are finally brought together by a case of food poisoning that's plaguing Eden's restaurant. And, well, fireworks abound. It was... excellent!
